Opportunity OverviewTrusted Staffe is pleased to collaborate with a leading Regional Medical Center in Everett, Washington, to recruit a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) for their Surgical/Trauma unit. This position offers an exciting opportunity to provide critical care to patients undergoing surgery and those experiencing traumatic injuries, in a fast-paced and rewarding environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Pre- and Post-Operative Care: Deliver expert nursing care to patients before and after surgery, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being throughout the surgical process.
- Trauma Care: Provide immediate and ongoing care to trauma patients, including assessment, stabilization, and management of acute injuries.
- Critical Care Skills: Utilize your advanced knowledge and skills to monitor vital signs, administer medications, manage pain, and perform other nursing interventions as needed.
- Collaboration: Work collaboratively with surgeons, trauma physicians, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Patient Advocacy: Act as a strong advocate for patients and their families, providing emotional support and education throughout their hospital stay.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient care by established protocols.
- Required:
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program
- Active Washington Registered Nurse License
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
- Minimum of one (1) year of nursing experience
- Preferred:
- National Certification in a relevant specialty (e.g., TNCC, CEN)
