AtWork Personnel is Hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) ICU Near Everett, WA

Our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) is renowned for its specialized care of critical patients, and we are seeking dedicated Registered Nurses to join our dynamic team.

Overview:

As a Registered Nurse in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), you will play a pivotal role in providing high-quality, compassionate care to critical patients. Working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, you will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care interventions to ensure optimal outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess and monitor the condition of critical patients in the Medical ICU, including vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and neurological status.
  • Administer medications, intravenous fluids, and other treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Perform and interpret diagnostic tests, such as ECGs, arterial blood gases, and laboratory tests.
  • Monitor and maintain specialized equipment, such as ventilators, cardiac monitors, and hemodynamic monitoring devices.
  • Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, and other healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding their medical condition, treatment options, and discharge planning.
  • Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic medical record.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based practice projects to enhance patient care delivery and outcomes.
  • Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance with standards of care and patient safety.

Qualifications:

  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Washington
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS).
  • Certification in Critical Care Nursing (CCRN) or other relevant specialty certification preferred.
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage complex patient care situations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Commitment to professional growth and continuing education in critical care nursing.

Schedule: Day or Night Shift, 12-hour shifts.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: $85,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
