*TITLE:* Sr. Systems Administrator
*LOCATION:* Onsite in Everett, WA
*PAY RANGE:* $70K-120K / year

*ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:*
As an IT Helpdesk Support Technician, you will be the first point of contact for our internal staff experiencing IT issues. This role involves handling inbound calls and emails, creating and managing support tickets, resolving technical problems, and escalating issues to higher-level support when necessary. You will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure and helping our team stay connected and productive.
*Key Responsibilities:*
* Build, stage, and deploy new and upgraded technology including complex windows-based desktops and laptops.
* Respond to incoming helpdesk requests from our helpdesk application, telephone, walk-up or email systems.
* Diagnose and resolve issues identifying and/or analyzing hardware, software, and system issues.
* Install, configure, and upgrade desktop and enterprise software, creating and updating documentation as needed.
* Streamline operations by improving technology processes.
* Recommend optimal or optimized infrastructure changes, upgrades, and configurations.
* Streamline enterprise provisioning.
* Provide updated, changed, or new management and end user reports or metrics and information extracts as requested.
* Actively support robust security requirements and initiatives, recommending and implementing additional measures as appropriate.
* Facilitate user adoption and use of cloud resources including Azure and Office-365.
* Execute and manage Active Directory functions to support secure user access and improved network function.
* Perform new user onboarding process, as well as move, add, and change support for employees.
* Escalate and collaborate on problems with teammates when appropriate.
* Partner with your team to make sure that our employees receive timely, top-quality support.
* Other duties may be assigned by management.
* Must be willing to be scheduled at times “on-call”, after core business hours, or on a weekend periodically to provide support for projects or issues.
*Requirements:*
* A Bachelor or Associate’s degree in computer technology, IS Operations or related field is desirable, but not required.
* Related certifications such as CompTIA or A , Microsoft, and other professional certifications will be considered.
*Experience*
* Minimum 4 years’ experience with business operations or desktop services, or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
*Specialized Skills and Abilities*
* Strong understanding of Microsoft operating systems.
* Must be able to identify needs/requirements without guidance and act to resolve accordingly.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, to include Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint, is required.
* High level of computer literacy with PC operating systems, networking concepts, printers, peripherals, spreadsheets, word processing and database software.
* Understanding of Ethernet and horizontal cabling standards.
* Ability to communicate clearly in English.
* A strong customer service focus, patience, and the ability to explain IT concepts in non-technical terms.
* You must be a U.S. Person.
*Preferred Qualifications:*
* Certifications like CompTIA A , Microsoft Certified, or similar.
