About Us:
Join our dedicated healthcare team at our facility in Evansville, IN, where we are committed to providing exceptional orthopedic care to our patients. We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Ortho unit for a contract position.

Responsibilities:

• Provide compassionate and comprehensive care to patients undergoing orthopedic procedures, including joint replacements, fractures, and spinal surgeries.
• Assess patient conditions, administer medications, and implement care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
• Monitor post-operative patients for complications and provide timely interventions as needed.
• Educate patients and their families on post-operative care, rehabilitation exercises, and pain management techniques.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
• Collaborate with surgeons, physical therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or compact state.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in orthopedic nursing or a related specialty.
• BLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
