MedPro Billing & Consulting is Hiring a Billing Specialist Near Evansville, IN

MedPro Billing and Consulting is looking to fill a position for a Behavioral Health Biller in the Evansville, IN area. MedPro is a locally owned and operated Mental Health Billing company. Candidates should be ready to join an established business with Behavioral Health clients nationwide.

The right candidate for this position will have:

· 2-5 years of Therapy Billing experience preferred

· Familiarity with the health insurance claims process

· Ability to learn multiple billing software systems

· Strong verbal and written communication skills

· Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills

· Payment Posting, and AR Management experience preferred

· Familiarity with Therapy Appointment, Simple Practice, Therapy Notes, AZZLY and other behavioral health software a plus!

Duties may include:

· Verifying patient insurance

· Claims Submission & Follow Up

· Following up with our clients in a professional manner

· Reviewing claims for proper modifiers, service codes, etc. for daily clean claim submission

· Reviewing and correcting claim rejections

· Submitting insurance claims electronically, via mail, and via payer specific web portals

· Sending patient statements and collecting payments via telephone

· Identifying, researching, resolving AR issues

Education:

· College degree or medical billing certificate preferred. Experience will be considered in lieu of formal education
