Overview:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood care, a genuine love for working with young children, and most importantly, a strong relationship with Jesus Christ as their personal Savior.

Responsibilities:

- Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities for preschool-aged children
- Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children to learn and grow
- Implement short Bible-based lessons that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development
- Monitor and assess student progress and communicate effectively with parents
- Provide individualized attention to each child to support their unique needs and learning styles
- Manage classroom behavior using positive reinforcement techniques
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a cohesive, Christ-centered experience for each child and family

Skills:

- Strong knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices
- Experience working with preschool-aged children in a church setting
- Understanding of childhood development stages and milestones
- Ability to educate and engage young learners effectively
- Knowledge of special education techniques for supporting students with diverse needs
- Proficiency in behavior management strategies for young children
- Excellent classroom management skills to create an organized and structured learning environment

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $35.00 per week

Expected hours: 3 – 5 per week

License/Certification:

• CPR Certification (Preferred)
