Hours are Mon-Thurs 6am to 4 : 30pm traditionally plus overtime currently. Pay is $17.50 per hour.
General Assembly
REPORTS TO : Production Supervisor
The following description represents the essential and most significant duties of this position. It is not intended to exclude other work duties, assignments, and responsibilities not mentioned herein.
Primary Responsibilities / Tasks
- Assembly of electrical connectors
- Assembly of the connector per bill of material / instructions provided in production order package.
- Operating bench top manual crimping machine air assisted
- Operating an automated crimping machine
- Operating an automated test station
- Operating an automated packaging machine
- HS School diploma with experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
- Prior experience with electronic assembly is a plus.
- Must be able to pass a color blind test.
- Follow instructions provided in a Bill of Material including quality checks.
Work Environment & Physical Demands
- Some standing and sitting for periods of time depending on tasks
- Ability to work with a team and communicate effectively with other employees
- Frequent lifting (in the range of 5 20 lbs) and occasional lifting (up to 50 lbs.) is required.
Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to) : $17.50 - $17.50 Per Hour
