ProLink Solutions, Inc. is Hiring a Business Analyst II Near Englewood, CO

ProLink Solutions is looking for a Business Analyst II to join our Professional Services team. ProLink Solutions is a software company centrally located in the Denver Metro area, serving customers nationally across the affordable housing industry. Customers on ProLink’s technology platform include state and local housing finance agencies, financial institutions, real estate developers and property managers.

The Professional Services team is a group of talented consultants who identifies and addresses client needs and drives higher user adoption of all ProLink products. You will be part of new implementation projects, change request/new feature request process, and customer success program. Participating in and sometimes leading discovery sessions, you will gather the information required to map the client’s business processes or document requested product features. You will analyze data, assist the client in determining their reporting needs, and generate the identified reports or dashboards.

The ideal candidate will have several years of experience with Excel modeling, particularly in real estate underwriting or affordable housing industry. The candidate should be prepared to provide a portfolio of reports/visualizations that they have created in order to demonstrate their knowledge in reporting generation. The candidate must also have excellent communication skills and have experience in collecting use cases and developing business processes and data models. The ideal candidate would also have experience developing backend procedures to provide data to the visualization toolsets mentioned above. While SQL skills are not a must, some level of programming experience is desired in order to demonstrate the candidate has a good foundation in logical thinking. The successful candidate will need to demonstrate that they understand data and how to provide that data to their users in simple but effective visualizations.

Responsibilities

  • Works independently while requiring direction on more complex issues
  • Thorough understanding of business analysis tasks and techniques
  • Participate in client implementation discovery sessions; create applicable business processes and workflow diagrams, technology solutions, and technology frameworks withing a business organization
  • Assist with requirements elicitation of data migration needs
  • Follow standards relevant to the affordable housing industry when creating business, functional, and system requirements
  • Create user stories, mockups, initial acceptance criteria, process diagrams and/or data dictionaries for system enhancement requirements
  • Collaborate with team members to analyze client and/or system data to identify useful information
  • Create reports using various tools, including but not limited to SSRS, AWS QuickSight, or Excel, for internal teams and/or external clients
  • Use graphs, infographics, and other methods to visualize data identified as needed to assist ProLink and our clients in achieving their goals
  • Complete client-specific system configuration and/or data mapping requests
  • Complete client Word, Excel, and SmartDox template mapping
  • Identify, document, and test system bugs
  • Support QA testing and acceptance testing, as needed
  • Support help requests from our clients and customer success team
  • Provide product demos to internal and external audiences, as necessary
  • Assist the technical writing team with creating or updating help center content or training material

Knowledge/Skills and Experience

  • Knowledge of and/or ability to learn the affordable housing industry
  • Highly proficient computer skills, including working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Visio
  • Experience with business process mapping of both current and future state processes
  • Experience with Agile methodology
  • Familiar with data structures and analysis, including SQL
  • User empathy and ability to read “between the lines” during client discovery
  • Experience with business intelligence
  • Effective interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of people within and outside the organization
  • Effective listening skills with the ability to interpret and share information clearly and concisely
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, flexibility, and efficient time management
  • Ability to prioritize workload and work towards multiple projects and objectives simultaneously
