Robert Half has partnered with a custom manufacturer in Englewood in search of a Job Cost Accountant! The Job Cost Accountant position is paying $70,000-$90,000!
The Job Cost Accountant will be responsible for the following:
- Assist with general accounting, and budgetary controls.
- Responsible for monthly journal entries to record, as determined by assigned accounts.
- Reconcile assigned balance sheet accounts monthly; resolve any reconciling items on a timely basis.
- Follow outlined timely month-end close process.
- Audit financial data by verifying, allocating, posting, reconciling transactions; resolving discrepancies.
- Calculate and monitor costs for inventory valuation and job costing purposes.
- Assist with annual financial budget and forecasts.
- Analyze financial data to support various projects and initiatives.
- Assist in annual external financial statement audit process.
Requirements for the Job Cost Accountant include:
- 5 years of accounting experience
- Manufacturing or construction experience is preferred, but not required
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred, but not required
