Flexible hours are available, full time and part time positions are available as well. If you aren't able to work these specific hours please call 620-343-9285 and ask to speak with Jamie Enick to discuss your availability. 

Qualifications:

Must be certified with State of Kansas as a CNA and CMA or LPN with a current certificate.

Must be able to pass a criminal background check

Job Duties:

1. Must be able to perform the essential tasks of a CNA in addition to the following.
2. Administers medication utilizing aseptic technique as stipulated by practice guidelines from the Kansas Nurse Practice Act.
3. Documents properly and promptly on the MAR or TAR at the time the medication or treatment is administered.
4. Assesses and records appropriate VS needed for medication administration and for weekly and monthly tracking purposes.
5. Administers medication safely: right time, right dose, right route, right drug, right resident, and right documentation.
6. Observes and records resident for reactions to medications administered
7. Responsible for performing treatments within the guidelines of the scope of practice as a CMA.
8. Correctly demonstrates treatment procedures.
9. Utilizes appropriate PPE during medication administration.
10. Obtains blood sugar levels for residents as directed by charge nurse.
