We are offering an opportunity for a dedicated Accounting Clerk in the Housing Association industry. The role is based in EMMAUS, Pennsylvania, and is on-site. This job entails a range of responsibilities from managing development project accounting to overseeing development project invoicing. Responsibilities:• Oversee all aspects of development project accounting, serving as the primary accounting liaison to the Accounting department• Execute the preparation and maintenance of development sources and uses spreadsheets • Facilitate the initial set-up and monthly and annual reconciliation of the development general ledger accounts• Supervise development project invoicing, draws, and payables• Prepare accurate journal entries for all acquisition, construction, and permanent loan closings• Work closely with Business Development Officer and property managers to prepare and review development funding draw requests• Ensure funding receipts are deposited and transferred as needed to meet payment obligations for all projects• Oversee the accounts payable process for development projects, ensuring proper authorization, coding, documentation, and mathematical accuracy• Collaborate with Business Development Officer, property managers, and auditors to prepare cost certifications for newly constructed and rehabilitated housing projects• Assist as necessary with routine general ledger close and account reconciliation functions• Receive and log tenant rental payments for Master Lease Tenants. Create and facilitate notices to Master Lease tenants if payments are delinquent• Respond to audit, limited partner, bank, trust company, and other external inquiries, providing a variety of information and assistance regarding budget balances, accounting transactions, and related information• Analyze records and documentation of transactions and monitor program expenditures for assigned funds and accounts to ensure expenditures and income are approved and allocated to proper accounts.For immediate consideration please apply directly to job posting or call 610-882-1600
