Facilities Maintenance Manager
Fort Lauderdale, FL; Charleston, SC; Knoxville, TN; El Paso, TX
Summary
You will be joining a fast-growing Wendy’s franchisee operating restaurants across several states to help maintain our equipment and buildings in excellent conditions. Depending on experience, your duties would include performing daily repair and maintenance activities, inspections, training sessions, special projects, and/or administrative tasks. Work conditions may require some overtime, exposure to the elements, and sporadic travel.
Specific Responsibilities Include
§ Performing reactive repairs and maintenance on restaurant equipment and buildings, including emergency service requests,
§ Executing scheduled preventive maintenance services per the PM checklist,
§ Inspecting and reporting conditions of restaurant equipment and buildings,
§ Processing work orders, purchase orders, invoices, capex requests and other administrative duties as necessary,
§ Maintaining accurate records of restaurant equipment, spare parts and tool inventories and the corresponding warranties,
§ Assisting in special projects such as installing, disassembling, relocating, and disposing equipment and building components,
§ Supporting the operations team during restaurant openings, remodels, special events, compliance inspections, and shutdowns,
§ Carrying out other job-related duties as may be assigned or required.
Education / Experience
§ 2 to 5 years of combined education and experience in equipment repair and maintenance, construction trades or general maintenance,
§ High school diploma or GED (a technical degree is highly preferred),
§ Technical knowledge of HVAC, refrigeration, electrical and/or plumbing work,
§ Ability to maintain and repair varied types of electrical equipment,
Licenses and certifications (desired)
§ Environment Protection Agency (EPA) HVAC/R Type 1 and Type 2 certification,
§ Other relevant licenses and certification(s),
