Lisa Cole with Robert Half is currently seeking a newly graduated accounting major interested in joining the team as a Staff Accountant for a company in El Dorado Hills, California. As part of this role, you will oversee a range of accounting responsibilities including managing Journal Entries, the General Ledger, Bank Reconciliations, and Month End Close activities. Responsibilities:• Perform bank reconciliations regularly to ensure accuracy• Maintain the general ledger and conduct the month-end close process• Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations• Ensure all accounting procedures align with regulations and standards• Proactively identify and resolve any discrepancies in financial records• Assist in developing and implementing accounting procedures by analyzing current procedures and recommending changes• Support budgeting and bookkeeping procedures• Assist in auditing processes when required• Maintain confidentiality of all financial data.
