We are looking for a meticulous Payroll Specialist to join our team at a well-established manufacturing firm with over five decades of experience.

The successful candidate will manage and oversee all facets of payroll processing, handling bi-weekly payroll tasks for our employees.

Key Responsibilities :

• Review and process daily, weekly, and bi-weekly timecard entries.
• Verify hours in our ERP / MRP system for accuracy and prepare data for upload to ADP Workforce Now Essential Time.
• Analyze payroll information to ensure precision and correct any discrepancies, including hours worked and pay adjustments.
• Collaborate with supervisors and managers across departments to confirm the accuracy of time and attendance records.
• Enter, review, and audit timekeeping and other payroll-related records.
• Ensure timely submission of bi-weekly payroll batches.
• Handle court-ordered garnishments, including calculation of deductions and communication with relevant agencies and employees.
• Process final checks outside the standard bi-weekly payroll cycle.
• Assist with additional accounting tasks, such as accounts payable and accounts receivable, as needed.
• Perform accounts payable duties, including reviewing, validating, and entering invoices into the ERP system, investigating discrepancies, and assisting with weekly payment cycles.
• Conduct general office duties such as filing, answering phone calls, and managing routine correspondence.
• Undertake other duties as assigned or required.

Qualifications :

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 5 years of experience in accounting or a related field.
• Previous experience with ADP Workforce Now and ERP / MRP systems.
• Knowledge of general accounting principles.
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Excel.
