We are looking for a 2nd shift Quality Control Inspector at a manufacturing company in Irwindale that produces metal components for aerospace and commercial applications.

As a Quality Control Inspector, your primary responsibilities will include inspecting, measuring, and evaluating metal components and assemblies using various inspection tools and equipment.

Monday to Friday 2 : 00 PM to 10 : 30 PM.

Responsibilities :

• Perform First Piece / In-Process Inspections and audits as required.
• Inspect in-process production by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, and communicating required adjustments to the production supervisor and engineering personnel.
• Document inspection results by completing reports and logs, summarizing re-work and waste, and inputting data into the quality database.
• Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations.
• Accomplish quality and organizational mission by completing related results as needed.
• Assist in root cause and corrective action findings and implementation.
• Interact with machine operators to ensure quality standards are achieved.
• Follow and verify routings sequential operations for part processing procedures and update in ERP application software.

Requirements :

• Proficiency in blueprint reading and GD&T symbols.
• Minimum 2 years of Quality Inspector experience.
• Experience inspecting metal materials and metal parts.
• Aerospace manufacturing experience preferred.
• Technical writing skills and computer proficiency.
• Root cause analysis experience.
