Opened in 1988, our flagship restaurant in East Hampton remains a charming and dependable table for a delicious and seasonally inspired meal in a community ripe with edible bounty. While the Tuscan farmhouse setting, wood-burning oven, extensive drink program, and outsider art all add to the ambiance, the energy of the dining rooms seem to take on a life of their own thanks to the vivacious diners who fill our seats night after night.

We are seeking a Beverage Manager to join our management team in overseeing our daily operations with focus on our beverage program and staff education. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in restaurant management, experience maintaining all aspects of a high level beverage program, experience or ability to manage a wine list and of over 200 bottles. Experience hiring, coaching, training, and true passion for hospitality.

Responsibilities to include but at not limited to :

- Manage all aspects of beverage program

- Ensure high-quality customer service and guest satisfaction

- Develop and maintain quality and service standards

- Teach train and cultivate a hgh level of beverage knowledge for all floor staff

- Train and supervise staff to deliver exceptional service

- Oversee inventory management and ordering of supplies

- Implement and maintain hygiene and safety regulations

Qualifications:

- Proven experience in restaurant management, fine dining prefered but not required

- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively

- Familiarity with Upserve POS or similar Point of Sale systems

- Knowledge of food and beverage industry trends and best practices

- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities - able to lead a diverse team of employees

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

- Previous experience as a Manager or Beverage Manager in the hospitality industry is a plus

- Expereince as a Sommelir strongly reccomended and preferred, but not required
