Position Overview:

The IT intern will be an integral part of our IT department, working closely with the IT Coordinator and supporting our daily operations. This position offers a unique opportunity for hands-on experience, professional growth, and a potential transition to a full-time role.

Core Responsibilities:

• Assist the IT team in providing Level 1 IT support to our office staff.
• Troubleshoot basic IT issues related to software, hardware, and network connectivity.
• Aid in the maintenance and setup of servers, routers, switches, and related network infrastructure.
• Support the installation and configuration of Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Collaborate with the IT Coordinator on various projects, ensuring smooth and efficient IT operations.
• Document and report any issues or irregularities to the IT Coordinator.
• Engage in continuous learning opportunities to stay updated on the latest IT trends and best practices.

Requirements:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Information Technology or related field
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware and software troubleshooting
- Familiarity with Windows operating systems
- Basic understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP protocols
- Experience with Linux operating systems is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks

Qualifications:

• Pursuing or completed a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Demonstrated knowledge of computer networks and basic troubleshooting techniques.
• Familiarity with servers, Linux, Windows, routers, and switches.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
