Accounting Clerk
Description: Responsible for day-to-day general accounting functions. Basic responsibilities include entering community hours and attendance records into Solana, preparing cash and accounts receivable receipts for bank deposit, performing quarterly petty cash audits, preparing recurring accounts payable checks, verifying eligibility of cash option, maintaining records and preparing checks and annual payee reports, performing all duties associated with HUD and the Habitat project, purchasing items by placing an order or actual shopping and performing other functions as assigned by the Accounting Manager.
Requirements: High School Diploma or GED and two years of bookkeeping and/or data processing experience. Associate's degree in accounting and/or business administration can be considered in lieu of work experience. Preference may be given to an Associate's degree in accounting, business administration, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Valid driver’s license required.
