Gateway Overnite is Hiring a Box Truck Driver Near Denver, CO
Our box truck driver is a professional truck driver who transports cargo freight throughout Denver, and surrounding areas. Their primary job is to deliver/pick up freight from numerous locations. In addition, it will involve sorting and loading freight on to the truck.
Our linehaul driver is going to another location to gather logistics freight, meaning they will be traveling to a designated pickup location to collect cargo that needs to be transported to its destination. This may involve loading and unloading the cargo themselves or coordinating with others to ensure that the freight is properly loaded and secured for transport. Also, the box truck drivers will often be responsible for servicing non-conveyable items, such as pallets, cases, and crates.
Box truck drivers must be skilled and experienced in operating commercial vehicles, typically 26' box trucks and 16' box trucks. The candidate must be able to pass a DOT physical, a background check, and a drug screen. The box truck driver must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.50 - $22.50 per hour
