The RoleThe role of a Servicing Specialist involves overseeing the post-funding aspects of cases within a Servicing department. This specialist is responsible for the review and assessment of the status of cases, identifying challenges or delays, gathering/providing updates by contacting law firms, understanding/utilizing our case management system, and conducting diligent research when necessary as well as contribution to the overall efficiency of case management.
Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a primary point of contact between our company and law firms handling our cases
  • Work closely with legal professionals to ensure the smooth progression of funded cases
  • Develop an understanding of our case management system and utilize it to track and update case information
  • Monitor the progress of cases by regularly communicating with law firms to obtain the latest developments, court dates, and any other pertinent information related to cases ensuring accuracy and consistency
  • Conduct thorough research to gather additional case-related information
  • Stay up to date on updates
Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a Personal Injury paralegal for 3-5 years
  • Strong understanding of personal injury legal processes
  • Detail-oriented, exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Professional work ethic
  • Effective communication skills – written, phone, in person – for interacting with clients and legal professionals
  • Proven ability to set and exceed your objectives
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Bilingual is a plus
