Gulf Coast JFCS is Hiring a Team supervisor Near Tampa, FL

WHAT YOU WILL DO :

The Family Reunification Team Supervisor is an exempt position responsible for providing clinical services to children and families involved in the foster care system.

This professional position will help children transition back into their home by providing in-home counseling and help link families to services in the community.

Supervisor will assist Reunification and Support Specialist in service planning process for each family including review and approval of service plans.

  • Provide direct counseling to children and families in order to help them transition successfully as a family unit.
  • Provide effective role modeling and monitor the families to ensure they are able to implement the new skills they have learned.
  • To attend meetings with families to ensure they are on target when it come to the meeting the needs of the children.
  • Attend FRT / CMO staffing’s and court as needed.
  • To provide immediate feedback to supervisors / Case Management Organization Case Managers when a concern arises.
  • Provide on call services as assigned
  • To provide intensive in-home services to families with the goal of reunification.
  • Assist in program planning and community outreach, training, and development of resources for the program client’s in conjunction with Program Director.
  • To ensure all outcome measurements are satisfied per the contract requirements.
  • To participate in supervision and monthly staff meetings, peer audits with Program Director and staff.
  • To support the development of Graduate level interns and their university requirements in order to increase program services to clients.
  • May act as the program liaison, program supervisor, and referral coordinator in the Program Director’s absence.
  • Assist in bi-weekly staffing’s to monitor case progress and ensure successful reunifications.
  • Complete Verification of Services on a monthly basis.
  • Carry a minimal case load 1-3 cases for up to 90-120 days.
  • Assure that statutory, administered code, Agency and CBC policy and procedure timelines and case progress are adhered to.
  • Completes assigned paperwork in compliance with standards, including time sheets, mileage logs, leave requests, employees’ performance reviews, client records, client appointments and management information system.
  • Provides quality services to clients and families as evidenced by assessment of services and the quality improvement system.
  • Other duties as assigned.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED :

  • Master’s degree in a human service or related field with one (1) year experience in human services, plus one (1) year of supervisory experience or Bachelor’s degree in a human service or related field with a minimum of four (4) years post-bachelor’s experience in the human services or related field, plus one (1) year of supervisory experience
  • LMHC or LCSW preferred
  • A specialized certification, such as a Certified Addiction Professional (CAP) may substitute for one (1) year of the required experience
  • Knowledge of Child Welfare System
  • Prior experience working with at risk children
  • Knowledgeable of community resources, service referrals, and linkage
  • Must have a valid drivers' license and auto insurance coverage.
