Responsibilities
- Handle the collection process for accounts aging 90 days and beyond
- Deal with escalated AR questions, requests, and disputes
- Negotiate with past due accounts and manage credit hold/release status
- Process the full cycle of getting monies collected, experience in manufacturing/commercial industry would be beneficial
- Provide backup support for billing functions when necessary
- Use Microsoft Excel and other software to maintain accurate customer credit records
- Understand and apply credit/collections law and process when attorneys get involved
- Submit regular reports on the status of unpaid accounts and any repayment progress
- Provide excellent customer service while handling B2B collections
- Collaborate with team members to ensure all collection processes are completed efficiently and effectively.
