Paralegal/legal assistant

Self-motivated, dependable and detail-oriented Paralegal sought for established law office in downtown DeLand, Florida. Full-time and part-time on-site positions are available. Paralegal or law-related experience is preferred, but not required.

Duties include: Drafting estate planning documents, deeds, trusts, and probate and guardianship pleadings for the attorney’s review; e-filing pleadings with the Court through the e-filing portal; assisting with administrative tasks.

Desired skills: Strong written and oral communication skills; highly developed organizational skills; strong proofreading and editing skills; ability meet deadlines and manage time; well-developed interpersonal skills; knowledge of basic law firm bookkeeping.

Salary: Competitive, based on experience.
