We improve the world of our customers and help them accelerate change by ensuring effective and flexible operations, streamlining processes, developing customer centric communications, and enabling data-driven decisions.Job Summary:Infinite Management Solutions (IMS), is looking for an experienced Proposal Manager to coordinate and support strategic company pursuits, including the development and production of proposals and presentations. This individual will ensure continuous improvement in the business development proposal process to develop winning bids and secure targeted opportunities within established timelines.
Responsibilities:
  • Understand the capture strategy including competitors, customer needs, and solutions and benefits
  • Collaborate with business development team
  • Thoroughly assess RFP/RFI and relevant business solicitations
  • Create and manage a compliance and response matrix and proposal schedule
  • Facilitate regular status meetings
  • Interface with sales/capture lead
  • Conduct and execute proposal reviews
  • Manage content plan, outlines, and mockup process
  • Create writers’ package and make assignments
  • Manage AI usage and policy
  • Train proposal contributors on best practices and expectations
  • Assist and coach writers with content development
  • Collaborate on proposal graphics
  • Ensure price, management, and technical volumes are consistent
  • Keep leadership well informed
  • Prepare for orals or other follow-on activities
Required Skills:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with proven experience in capture management and proposal development
  • Outstanding time management skills and proven success meeting deadlines and performing in fast-paced environments
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Strong knowledge of government and DOD contract processes (RFI, RFP, SBIR, GSA, FAR, etc.)
  • Experienced in supporting business development efforts and demonstrating strong leadership and ability to motivate teams
  • Trained and/or credentialed as CCPP, CPM, CGPM, or similar industry recognized accreditation
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and proposal management software (PandaDoc, GovWin, SalesEdge, Expedience, etc.)
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university in English, Communication, Journalism or related concentration
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in proposal writing, 5 years relevant experience preferred
  • Shipley trained or certified in proposal processes
  • Meets U.S. citizenship and work eligibility requirements for federal contractors
  • Must possess or be able to obtain a Department of Defense (DOD) Secret level clearance, if required
