Overview

JST is currently seeking a Systems Administrator to support our team within a government environment. As the Systems Administrator, you will provide assistance and coordination for technical solutions, application development, and support to a help desk team providing daily technical support activities to a large organization.

Systems Administrator Responsibilities

• Will serve as a System Administrator including installation, configuration, implementation, and maintenance
• Will assist in fine-tuning systems, hardware and software to increase systems performance
• Will maintain systems information security and physical security procedures
• Maintain processes and procedures, while adhering to established policies
• Ensure systems availability, functionality, integrity, and efficiency
• Maintain systems configuration and manage the installation and integration of system fixes, upgrades, and enhancements

Systems Administrator Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
• Experience using and administering Microsoft Office 365 Suite or Google Workspace
• US Citizen
• Five or more years of experience as a Systems Administrator or similar role
• Must be a team player
• Must be highly motiviated
• Professional level written and verbal communication skills
• Must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time
• Occasional overtime and travel may be required

Required Clearances and Screenings

• MUST be able to successfully pass a drug and background check
• MUST be able to successfully obtain a DoD CAC card and Tier 1 investigation
