Young Life is Hiring an Area Director Near Davis, CA
We are seeking a full-time Staff Associate or Area Director to join our ministry team. We are looking for a strong leader to build a dynamic leadership team to work alongside current invested committee members, to engage with our community, and to actively reach kids in Davis and surrounding communities.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate spiritual leadership on a personal and supervisory level
- Supervise, support and develop volunteer team leaders
- Oversee the resource development of the area; meet with donors and oversee fundraising events
- Maintain a strong area budget
- Develop and execute area vision and a strategic plan alongside the committee
- Participate in dynamic direct ministry with kids
- Spiritual Maturity and a growing faith
- Ability to cultivate relationships with kids and adults including local church representatives, business owners and school employees
- Proven pastoral, leadership, vision and team building skills
- Experience in raising money and managing a budget
- Leadership skills that allow for collaboration with board members, the community and volunteers.
