iPipeline seeks to add a Corporate Counsel to manage legal and compliance matters based in Exton, Pennsylvania (Philadelphia area) or Davidson, North Carolina (Charlotte area). The Corporate Counsel will be responsible for providing a broad range of legal services to the company, with a significant focus on technology transactions, contract drafting and negotiation, regulatory compliance, and product development. Familiarity with US and international business and corporate law, as well as privacy and cybersecurity law and regulations, is a must, as is a lean-in, adaptable, team-oriented mindset.
The Corporate Counsel will report to the General Counsel. As an integral part of the team, you will be expected to identify, analyze, and advise the company on a variety of legal and corporate matters to support our operations. You will be a primary point of contact for the Sales and Marketing, Professional Services, R&D, and Finance & Accounting teams, and will be ready to work collaboratively as a business partner to help the business identify and implement practical business solutions to achieve its goals and enable significant growth. You will be responsible for updating, managing, drafting, and negotiating a broad range of contracts including Software as a Service (SaaS), software and technology licensing, service and supply, professional services, consulting, confidentiality, purchasing or procurement, marketing, and other agreements on a regular basis.
The ideal candidate will be highly organized, solution driven, customer service-oriented, pragmatic, and proactive in their approach to contracting and be able to work both collaboratively and autonomously.
