Aston Carter is Hiring a Subcontracts Manager Near Dallastown, PA
This Subcontracts Manager is responsible for the management function for major subcontracts of supplies and services.
Essential Job Duties
- Manage and monitor the subcontractors to ensure timely completion of all efforts associated with the project.
- Administer FFP, CPFF, and T&M subcontractor agreements of varying sizes.
- Understand and identify supplier interdependencies in critical paths for each program.
- Source and manage, in accordance with approved business strategies, complex supply relationships for subsystems commodities, services that require significant professional supply chain involvement to successfully execute.
- Support development and negotiates, with support of the program team, required Statements of Work (SOW) and Performance Based Specifications (PBS), Terms and conditions, Performance Based Payments (PBP) schedules, rights assertions on which the award will be based. Negotiation approach is focused on customer satisfaction with integrity.
- Prepare and issue requests for proposal, evaluating proposals, source selection with evaluation criteria, and issuing subcontracts & PO’s.
- Monitor and perform Earned Value analysis of Supplier information.
- Maintain accuracy of subcontract documents and data.
- Support and Lead cost reduction initiatives, changes, and program meetings.
- Control Account Management (CAM) Experience.
- Experience with PO Folders and managing supplier contracts from SOW to closeout.
- Previous experience preparing and delivering presentations to upper management and external customers.
- Knowledge of FAR/DFAR procurement regulations.
- Working knowledge of standard contract types.
