Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as a Unit Manager. The Unit Manager will oversee the nursing staff and ensure the delivery of high-quality care to our patients. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership skills, clinical expertise, and a commitment to excellence in nursing practice.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of nursing staff on the unit
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards, policies, and procedures
  • Assess the needs of patients and develop individualized care plans
  • Provide clinical guidance and support to nursing staff
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to optimize patient outcomes
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to nursing staff
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and staff development programs
  • Maintain accurate and complete patient records
  • Serve as a liaison between nursing staff, physicians, and other healthcare providers

Requirements:

  • Valid RN license in [PA]
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) preferred
  • Minimum of [5] years of nursing experience, with [1] years of supervisory experience preferred
  • Strong clinical skills and knowledge of current nursing practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated leadership ability and team-building skills
  • Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract

Pay: $50.00 - $57.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • On call
  • Overtime
  • Rotating weekends

Experience:

  • Nursing: 1 year (Preferred)
