We are searching for a Staff Accountant to join our client full-time. You will play a crucial role in managing financial aspects related to project execution. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $90,000 to $100,000 per year.
Job Description:
Prepare sales and use tax affidavits for multiple jurisdictions.
Review actual costs to ensure accurate project cost allocation.
Analyze variances against forecasted amounts.
Calculate sales and use taxes on invoices from vendors and suppliers.
Process purchase order agreements.
Maintain positive relationships with supplier and subcontractor accounting staff.
Qualifications:
Sales and use tax multi-state experience required.
Proficiency in Excel.
Competence in conventional aspects of the subject matter or functional area.
Ability to devise innovative solutions to encountered problems.
Independent performance with occasional guidance.
