Robert Half is seeking a Director of Financial Reporting they will be responsible for managing all aspects of financial reporting for the organization. This includes overseeing the preparation and distribution of financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations, and providing strategic guidance on financial reporting matters.Responsibilities:Lead the preparation and analysis of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) or relevant accounting standards (e.g., IFRS).Manage the preparation and filing of periodic reports with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), such as Form 10-K, Form 10-Q, and Form 8-K, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and disclosure obligations.Stay current on accounting standards and pronouncements issued by regulatory bodies (e.g., FASB, SEC), and provide guidance on the implementation and interpretation of complex accounting issues, including revenue recognition, lease accounting, and financial instrument accounting.Develop and maintain effective internal controls over financial reporting (ICFR) to ensure the integrity of financial information and compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements or other relevant regulations.
