Job Overview: We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Front of House (FOH) Manager to join our team and assist our General Manager in overseeing daily operations. The FOH Manager will be responsible for leading shifts, opening and closing the restaurant, and nurturing the unique culture that defines Moon Dog Pie House. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about hospitality, has strong leadership skills, and thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Shift Leadership:
• Oversee daily operations during assigned shifts, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
• Manage and motivate FOH staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
• Address any customer service issues promptly and professionally.
• Opening and Closing:
• Perform opening and closing duties, including setup and breakdown of the dining area.
• Ensure all cash handling and financial procedures are followed accurately.
• Conduct end-of-day reports and reconcile any discrepancies.
• Team Development:
• Foster a positive, collaborative, and fun work environment.
• Train and mentor new FOH staff, ensuring they understand and uphold our standards of service.
• Conduct regular staff meetings and provide ongoing feedback to improve performance.
• Customer Experience:
• Greet and interact with guests, ensuring they have a memorable dining experience.
• Monitor dining areas to ensure cleanliness and readiness for service.
• Implement strategies to enhance guest satisfaction and address any feedback constructively.
• Operational Support:
• Assist the General Manager with inventory management, ordering supplies, and scheduling.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and accurate food delivery.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a supervisory or managerial role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a restaurant setting.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
• Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
