PURPOSE: Deliver to customers in a courteous and cordial manner, keep trucks clean and neat. Coordinate activities and cooperate with other departments of the business to serve the needs of the customer. Safely operate equipment when loading/unloading trucks and driving in yard. Represent and promote the driving operations in an up-beat manner, which insures customer confidence and maximum efficiency for the store. Maintain and operate shop equipment and tools, performing quality work, as quickly and efficiently as possible. Safely operate trucks for the pickup and delivery of equipment, parts and supplies to and from the business. Safely operate trucks for the pickup and delivery of bulk and pallet products and supplies to and from the suppliers and quarries. See the company products, labor, and whole goods service at all times.
REQUIREMENTS: Valid Missouri Class A License, Valid MO DOT Physical card, CDL-A Driving experience, Saturdays Mandatory, Pre-Employment Drug Screen/DOT Drug Pool and Pre-Employment driving record verification. Ability to understand and follow instructions in English. Lift up to 50 pounds. Ability to bend, stoop, twist, and move freely in the performance of the position. Light math skills. Ability to read and understand technical drawings and diagrams. Ability to climb in and out of equipment many times during the course of the day's work. The environment is mainly outside in all kinds of weather. Pleasant personality, Customer service experience, Team player, Multi-tasker, Quick learner.
