Description
BH Program Specialist-Full Time
- The Behavioral Health Program Specialist will work in the Virtual Care Clinic and serve as part of the virtual care team.
- This position will include assisting with direct customer service, talking with patients, scheduling appointments and completing prior authorizations.
- This position will also be responsible for building spreadsheets, data collection and grant reporting for two federal grants.
- Develop processes for regular data collection and reporting.
- Monitor and evaluate grant activities.
- Update necessary grant documents.
- Work the referral work que and assist the scheduler with making appointments.
- Will complete prior authorizations for medications as needed.
- May have other duties as assigned.
- Adheres to specific hospital policy and procedures.
I. Minimum Education, Training, and Experience Required
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Must be organized and have computer skills for spreadsheets and grant reporting requirements.
- Knowledge or interest in data collection is essential. Must be able to complete multiple tasks and stay organized to ensure that all grant reporting needs are being addressed.
