Description

BH Program Specialist-Full Time

  • The Behavioral Health Program Specialist will work in the Virtual Care Clinic and serve as part of the virtual care team.
  • This position will include assisting with direct customer service, talking with patients, scheduling appointments and completing prior authorizations.
  • This position will also be responsible for building spreadsheets, data collection and grant reporting for two federal grants.
  • Develop processes for regular data collection and reporting.
  • Monitor and evaluate grant activities.
  • Update necessary grant documents.
  • Work the referral work que and assist the scheduler with making appointments.
  • Will complete prior authorizations for medications as needed.
  • May have other duties as assigned.
  • Adheres to specific hospital policy and procedures.

I. Minimum Education, Training, and Experience Required

  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Must be organized and have computer skills for spreadsheets and grant reporting requirements.
  • Knowledge or interest in data collection is essential. Must be able to complete multiple tasks and stay organized to ensure that all grant reporting needs are being addressed.
