Our Professoinal Services client locate in Coppell is seeking a Tax Manager level professional for a contract to hire opportunity. Onsite for first 3 months, then hybrid. OBJECTIVES OF THIS ROLE• Assist in developing business and investment strategies for an optimized after-tax return for a client• Ensure that business and personal tax-return preparation meets all regulatory requirements• Review operations and procedures to ensure compliance with state and federal statutes and regulations• Seek new efficiencies for the tax department and improve client experienceRESPONSIBILITIES • Oversee and work with the tax team to ensure compliance and best practices are being utilized• Review all business tax returns and some individual tax returns• Maintain and develop relationships with existing and new clients by providing exceptional client service and advice• Seek opportunities for legal tax saving strategies for businesses including retirement plan contributions, QBI planning• Determine best tax structure for businesses and implement• Remain up to date with changes in the tax code and accounting laws• Conduct research on tax compliance issues at the state and national levels
