Our Automotive Coatings group produces innovative and sustainable automotive OEM coatings and employs nearly 12,000 worldwide! In this role you will work on site at our customer site Sunday-Thursday from 10pm-7am ensuring appropriate reporting, product performance and more!
As a Customer Site Service Rep, you create chemistry by
- Measuring, monitoring, and analyzing product and processing performance (coatings field analysis), also measuring, and monitoring inventory.
- Supporting the efforts of the Technical Service Team through data collection and analysis.
- Participating within the site service team safety program.
- Complying to the Assembly Plant Service Process in the customer plant.
- Supporting customer and internal project schedule compliance through coatings field analysis activities, also supporting launch activities through coatings field analysis.
- Providing information / data to support Lab Work Requests to meet account needs and providing information / data to write and support NCMs.
- Supporting Problem Resolution Activities through coatings field analysis.
- Assists with color audit reviews through coatings field analysis.
- Complying with BASF Quality Systems and customer quality standards.
If you...
- Have a high school diploma / GED.
- Are a dependable, hard working and self motivated person.
- Are able to work Sunday-Thursday night shifts. (10pm-7am)
- Have good verbal, written communication skills and good interpersonal skills.
- Paint Application Knowledge / Experience, defect Recognition, Analysis, and Identification a plus.
- Understand quality systems and concepts, and an understanding of customer labor policies.
- Have knowledge of business IT Tools (MS Office) and Quality Systems compliance.
