Mid-Ohio Food Collective is Hiring an Annual Giving Manager Near Columbus, OH

JOB SUMMARY:

Mid-Ohio Food Collective (MOFC) is looking for an Annual Giving Manager to help ensure donors experience high-quality interactions with the organization through communication and stewardship, donor recognition, and building relationships. The position is also responsible for soliciting gifts, educating our constituencies, and creating passion for the work of MOFC.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee our mid-level giving program (1980 Society). Create and promote engagement events, drive new member enrollment and upgrade existing members.
  • Work with our direct marketing partner and internal team to ensure high quality, timely and on-brand printed and digital solicitations.
  • Plan and execute a robust strategy for building new workplace giving relationships, including presentations to external groups about MOFC's mission to end hunger.
  • Manage all aspects of cause marketing, including the development of new relationships as well as the stewardship and expansion of existing relationships.
  • Create, compile, and collaborate with marketing and communications on monthly donor E-newsletter and podcast.
  • Manage a portfolio of mid-level donor relationships to engage individuals throughout the annual giving process and beyond.
  • Manage Pledge Partners monthly giving program including solicitation and stewardship.
  • Partner with Stewardship Coordinator in efforts to increase donor retention strategies for annual donors, including donor thank you calls and letters.
  • Partner with marketing and communications on the implementation of robust social media strategies to drive digital funding.
  • Manage third party events by working with external event organizers, assessing needs, and coordinating internal involvement.
  • Conduct on-site donor relations activities including facility tours.
  • Collect, compile and author stories of impact to share with donors.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    Education and Certifications: Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent experience is required.

    Experience: At least three years of development experience with an emphasis on cultivating, stewarding and soliciting gifts from individual donors. An understanding of gift acknowledgement, donor cultivation and stewardship and gift solicitation is required. Candidates should possess excellent oral, written and presentation skills and be computer literate.

    Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Excellent customer service skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks. Self-starter. Ability to convey complex ideas in an accessible manner both written and verbally. Willingness to adjust to changing priorities. Strong interpersonal skills. Ability to represent MOFC with professionalism.

    JOB CONDITIONS:

    Normal office environment. Occasional travel may be required.
