Job Details
** Will be required to be full time onsite (5 days a week) at 1980 West Broad St, Columbus.
Requirement Description:
The candidate will be supporting The Ohio Department of Transportation s (ODOT) Asset Management Team.
This position will function as a skilled PS2 within the Department of Information Technology responsible for tracking, updating, and movement of Information Technology desktop and network assets.
Specific responsibilities:
- Updating meta-data required for asset management.
- Add newly acquired assets to the system.
- Reassignment of assets, based on ServiceNow incident tickets.
- Coordinated and organizing disposal of ODOT s computer and networking outdated equipment.
- Maintaining organization of working area.
- Append asset tags to newly acquired equipment.
- Reporting from the Asset management system to aid in biennium reconciliation
- Mobile AV support
- Unpackaging and movement of equipment.
- Follow quality standards.
- Analytical and customer service skills.
- Communicate accurate and useful status updates.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Complete assigned tasks.
- Strong communication skills; both written and spoken
