JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Controller to join our dynamic team at Worth Capital. As the Controller, you will play a critical role in overseeing the financial operations of our firm, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with all regulatory standards. The Controller will direct the company's accounting processes and procedures while implementing internal control policies for all financial activities. The Controller will be responsible for financial reporting, accounting, billing, collections, payroll, and banking activities for all areas of the company.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage and oversee all accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and financial reporting.
• Develop and maintain financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial data accuracy.
• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, budget variance reports, and cash flow projections.
• Coordinate and lead annual budgeting processes, working closely with department heads to develop accurate forecasts and budgets to ensure proper delegation of funds.
• Provide strategic financial guidance and support to senior management, helping to drive business growth and profitability.
• Monitor and evaluate financial performance against established goals and benchmarks, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.
• Ensure compliance with all tax regulations and reporting requirements, including preparation of annual tax returns and coordination with external tax advisors.

REQUIREMENTS

• Proficiency in financial management software (e.g., QuickBooks, AppFolio) and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Proven leadership abilities, with a track record of building and leading high-performing teams.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and integrity in financial reporting and analysis.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA designation preferred.
• Strong technical accounting skills and knowledge of GAAP; experience with real estate accounting is a plus.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
