- Ensure correct grammar, spelling, and usage, as well as adherence to AMA, agency, and client styles
- Verify brand-specific style is consistent throughout jobs
- Checks to make sure references are listed and ordered correctly
- BA/BS degree in science/medical field or journalism/English
- 2 years’ of copy editing and/or content editing
- Excellent proofreading skills
- Pharma agency experience/understanding of medical terminology
- Knowledge/familiarity with AMA style
- Experience working on multiple projects simultaneously in a deadline-oriented environment
