About You:

You are a finance professional with a passion for precision and a knack for multitasking. You thrive in a hands-on role where your expertise directly impacts the success of the organization. You're not afraid of getting into the details to drive systems creation and process improvement. Lastly, you love the thought of contributing to a rapidly scaling firm in a meaningful manner.

What You’ll Do:

  • Process payroll and manage day-to-day financial operations, including reconciling bank accounts, verifying deposits, and maintaining the general ledger.
  • Reconcile bank accounts, verify deposits, and address bank inquiries to ensure our finances are always accurate and up-to-date.
  • Reconcile cash disbursement accounts, payroll, customer accounts, and other financial accounts.
  • Prepare comprehensive business activity reports, financial forecasts, and annual budgets.
  • Coordinate with tax accountants and manage filings with federal, state, and local government agencies.
  • Manage the accounts payable process and ensure payments are made timely and accurately charged to the appropriate general ledger accounts.
  • Manage the payroll process ensuring compliance with laws and tax obligations.
  • Manage the company’s employee benefits and insurance plans.
  • Develop and document robust business processes and accounting policies to strengthen internal controls.
  • Manage and maintain the accounting software system; recommends updates to enhance the accounting software to enhance efficiency.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
  • Minimum of six years of related experience, including hands-on financial management. CPA designation is a plus.
  • High proficiency in Excel and financial systems, with HR/payroll experience.
  • Strong analytical skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving and data review.
  • Proven ability to recruit, hire, and conduct performance evaluations, as well as identify and address training needs.
