As an Inbound Sales Development Representative (SDR) at Gong, you will be responsible for generating and qualifying inbound leads to create new business opportunities. You will work closely with the sales team to accelerate the sales cycle and achieve revenue targets. The ideal candidate is passionate about sales, highly motivated, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
  • Respond promptly and professionally to qualify inbound leads through various phone, email, and chat channels
  • Qualify leads based on specific criteria and schedule meetings for Account Executives
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners to develop and refine lead generation strategies.
  • Maintain accurate records of interactions with prospects in the CRM system
  • Provide feedback to improve lead qualification and sales processes
  • Meet or exceed assigned daily activity minimums of 80-100 activities per day
  • Become a power user of Gong’s platform
  • Collaborate with team members to share and learn from best practices
QUALIFICATIONS
  • You are located in the CHI area and can be in-office 3 days a week (Mon, Tues, Thurs)
  • Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a dynamic environment
  • Results-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets
  • You have a high degree of resilience, enabling you to bounce back from setbacks
  • You possess a player mindset; you strive to grow and develop and never back down from a challenge
  • Your work ethic is unmatched - anything you don’t know you’ll make up with hard work
  • You’re extremely coachable and willing to receive and implement feedback
  • Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) is a plus
