Job Description:
L&W Recruiting is currently representing a well-established law firm in Chicago, IL, seeking a talented Commercial Litigation Attorney with 2-5 years of experience. Responsibilities:
- Handle a variety of commercial litigation matters, with a focus on creditors' rights.
- Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
- Represent clients in court proceedings, hearings, and mediations.
- Provide strategic legal advice and counsel to clients.
- Collaborate with colleagues and clients to achieve favorable outcomes.
Requirements:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the Illinois State Bar (or ability to waive in).
- 2-5 years of experience practicing commercial litigation, with a focus on creditors' rights preferred.
- Strong analytical, research, and writing skills.
- Ability to effectively manage a caseload and work independently.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Experience in a midsize or large law firm preferred.
