Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate 8th Gr Homeroon and Junior High Mathematics Teacher to join our team. We are a small Catholic School with a big vision to be the school of choice in the Midway area delivering academic excellence and forming disciples of Christ who love and serve. As an 8th grade, Junior High Math Teacher, you will be responsible for providing quality instruction to students, fostering a positive learning environment, and promoting academic growth in the field of mathematics.

Duties:
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with the curriculum standards
- Utilize various teaching methods and resources to accommodate different learning styles
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and collaboration
- Assess student progress through assignments, exams, and projects
- Provide individualized support and guidance to students as needed
- Utilize technology effectively to enhance instruction and student learning
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement interdisciplinary projects or activities
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay updated on best practices in mathematics education

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Education and or Mathematics or related field
- Valid teaching license
- Strong knowledge of mathematics concepts and principles across various grade levels
- Experience in teaching mathematics preferred
- Proficient in using technology tools for instruction and assessment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to effectively manage classroom behavior and maintain a positive learning environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
