Recurring functions:
- Responsible for the day-to-day maintenance of QuickBooks as well as month-end close reporting, including but not limited to budget reports and bank reconciliations.
- Provide analysis and perform general ledger duties
- Keeping track of payments and expenditures, including payroll, purchase orders, invoices, and statements.
- Processing check requests and expense reports on a regular basis.
- Accurately reviewing, coding, and processing vendor invoices.
- Performing data entry associated with accounts payable matters.
- Prepare form 1099s
- Prepare and submit monthly sales tax returns
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement
- Prepare financial statements and reports, providing insight and recommendations based on analysis
- Flexibility to support management in various company-wide initiatives.
- Minimum of 4 years of related experience in a bookkeeping or similar environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
- QuickBooks experience required.
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Independent, able to work effectively and efficiently under minimal supervision.
- Must be a team player who easily adapts to change.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Sales tax experience preferred.
