We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Accountant to managing various accounting services, such as Payroll, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Tax and Audit Preparation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up new employees in Deltek Costpoint and manage employee changes.

• Verify and process timesheets, handle payroll processing, and leave management.

• Process employee expense reports and vendor invoices, including subcontractor invoices.

• Manage payment processes via various methods such as ACH, bill pay, and credit card.

• Handle 1099 processing at year-end.

• Process company billings to clients and manage cash receipts.

• Conduct AR aging reviews and respond to client correspondence.

• Prepare and enter journal entries for month-end closings.

• Generate monthly financial statements and bank reporting packages.

• Perform general ledger account reconciliations and maintain tax workpapers.

• Support implementation of accounting systems and workflows.

• Assist in preparing analytical spreadsheets and company bids to government proposals.

• Review subcontractor invoices, support contract spend plans, and prepare contract reports.

This is a full time, salaried, hybrid position.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent experience.

• Minimum of 4 years’ experience in General Accounting, preferably within a government contracting environment.

• Hands on experience in DELTEK/Costpoint ERP.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, intermediate level Excel.

• Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with excellent organizational skills.
