Tat technologies is Hiring a Bid and Proposal Manager Near Charlotte, NC

Background

This is a newly created position at the new TAT Technologies Charlotte office. The

successful candidate is expected to lead our opportunity capture process from customer

request all the way to successful contract implementation.

providing innovative commercial, defense, OEM and repair/overhaul solutions. Our

experience, flexibility, and commitment to meeting customer’s requirements have positioned

us to be a trusted partner to some of the world’s leading aircraft manufacturers, OEM’s,

airlines, MRO’s, air forces and defense organizations. TAT employs more than 600

employees’ worldwide, with facilities in the US and Israel.

Main Responsibilities

• Manage all phases of the proposal response process across multiple efforts

simultaneously.

• Understand capture strategy and interface with sales/capture lead.

• Work with a cross-functional proposal team for each effort and facilitate

required meetings.

• Thoroughly assess Requests for Proposal (RFPs)/Requests for Information

(RFIs)/Requests for Quotation (RFQs).

• Create and manage a compliance and response matrix to ensure RFP

compliance.

• Create and manage a proposal schedule to ensure milestone and delivery

requirements are met.

• Draft and/or enhance proposal response components, including management

approaches, past performance, resumes, and more as needed.

• Conduct milestone proposal reviews: adjust the proposal development

schedule accordingly to accommodate corrective actions.

• Clearly and consistently communicate proposal development strategies, plans,

and needs to all proposal team members.

• Assist with content development and ensure consistency across technical /

management, administrative, and pricing.

• Gather proposal information by identifying sources of information; coordinating

submissions and collections; and identifying and communicating risks

associated with proposals.

• Develop win themes and incorporate strategies from review teams for final

proposal drafts.

• Format and tech edit final response package, perform final quality control and

compliance check, and provide timely submission of all proposal deliverables.

• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders for data collection and

preparation, which includes consulting with Legal counsel as required.

• Prepare and develop materials for follow-up activities, including discussions

responses, debriefs, closeout tasks, boilerplate development, and data

collection.

• Provide strong support during the contract negotiation phase, ensuring that no

significant deviation to the proposed commercial terms enters the deal.

Professional Experience/ Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in a similar role at Manager or Director level.

• Strong PM skills and experience.

• Experience and skills in legal language and working with legal consultants.

• Past experience with aerospace contract language preferred.

• Experience in developing marketing materials.

• Demonstrate ability to motivate and communicate with others at all levels.

• Comfortable working within a decentral matrix organization.

• Comfortable working with C-level, strong minded executives

• Occasional travel may be required.

• The position is based in Charlotte NC.
