As a FOH Manager for Southbound, you will be expected to deliver high-quality food and beverage while motivating your staff to provide excellent customer service. You will work closely with the Maitre D, Restaurant Manager and Director of Beverage and Hospitality Operations. To be successful in this role, you’ll need management skills and own personal desire to become knowledgeable in every aspect of the restaurant, not only where your strength is currently. The owners, directors, and management team will be there to coach, support and offer extended classes to teach, but the desire and motivation needs to start with you.

You will ensure efficient restaurant operations, as well as maintain high production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards. We expect you to oversee the front of house staff, the restaurant in its entirety with regards to organization and cleanliness, reservation flow, point of contact for customers, while motivating your staff to be friendly, efficient while giving excellent customer service and proper steps of service. You’ll also be expected to oversee and manage food and bar prep, positive and efficient kitchen and bar service while making sure we comply with health and safety restaurant regulations. We’ll expect you to know all the specialty cocktail recipes and our wine list and be comfortable to prepare or assist as necessary. Lastly, getting to know the community is an intricate part of the overall success of Southbound and we will expect you to make and maintain those relationships.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
