Property Management Firm seeking a highly motivated Property Manager for our apartment complex in Champaign. The ideal candidate will possess strong attention to detail, and a professional attitude with the desire to provide a pleasant atmosphere to our tenants.

The position will include a wide variety of responsibilities, which include but are not limited to:

• Managing all aspects of assigned residential property;
• Respond timely and courteously to tenants, prospective tenants, and vendors;
• Oversee maintenance and cleaning staff and ensure timely turnover of units;
• Effectively market and advertise vacancies at property;
• Monitor, log and confirm maintenance requests are resolved timely;
• Review tenant ledgers to ensure timely collections;
• Oversee accuracy of transactions entered by the corporate office in the processing of all rents and leases;
• Manage paperwork flow between tenants and corporate office;
• Serve 5-day notices as required;
• Performing Move In and Move Out inspections;
• Submitting weekly reports to Corporate office;

Requirements

We are seeking an individual who possesses the following skill set:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in Property Management.
• Ability to work independently with minimal direction from corporate office.
• Superior organizational skills, the ability to multi-task and perform under pressure, and excellent communication skills.
• Display strong and confident negotiation and conflict-resolution skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Suites and general office tools.
• A professional attitude with a desire to provide a superior experience to tenants and staff.
• Access to a reliable vehicle and a driver’s license is required.
